Increase the industrial manufacturing with Roboze

At Formnext 2019, leading exhibition dedicated to Additive Manufacturing that will take place from 19th to 22nd of November at Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Roboze portfolio will get wider with ARGO 350, a new 3D printer with a 350X300X300mm buildplate, capable to increase the industrial manufacturing with high precision and freedom of design.

All the advantages of Metal Replacement will be included in a unique 3D printing solution. Thanks to ARGO 350, those companies working in the aviation, space, motorsport and Oil&Gas sectors will be able to print strong like metal and produce long-lasting parts with a wide range of thermoplastic materials, guaranteeing high mechanical, chemical and thermal performance.

ARGO 350: how did the new Roboze 3D printing solution come to light?

The constant research done by Roboze R&D team meets the real necessities of the market: in this way Roboze designed and realized ARGO 350, enhanced by high quality components with the aim of increasing the reliability and the lifetime.

A controlled heated chamber, capable to reach 180°C in just more than one hour, allows ARGO 350 to reduce the thermal shock of the material we are extruding and cool it down more slowly, reducing the mechanical stress and any residual tensions, caused by the thermal treatment.

The HVP Extruder, designed to reach 450°C for the extrusion of composite materials and high temperature super polymers, is equipped with a double gear system to better dissipate the heat, reduce any wear phenomena, improve the feeding system and optimize the pressure on the filament itself. Moreover, the introduction of a double extruder system allows to print more complex parts thanks to the use a soluble support material, available on the Production systems.

ARGO 350’s Beltless System: the highest printing precision

Like in ARGO 500, here the Beltless System guarantees a positioning precision of 10 micron. The buildplate presents an automatic levelling system that, in addition to eliminate any external interventions, increases the repeatability of the parts, even if produced in different cycles or time: this operation completely eliminates warping phenomena and creates perfect adhesion.

Simplifying the printing cycle is the first goal of the new ARGO 350. Thanks to a specific environment to monitor the quality of the printing filament – equipped with 2 independent Filament Dryers with a system to check the moisture, 1 for the main material and 1 for the support material (if needed) – it is possible to increase the productivity with no interruptions.

The ARGO 350’s Filament Dryers, designed to guarantee the automatic loading of the filament, are capable to interact with the machine in order to increase the productivity with more rapid pre-printing procedures and automatic loading of the second spool when needed.

Roboze innovations guarantee, therefore, a continuous production, reducing the interruptions of the printing process, thanks to a constant monitoring of the information about End of Filament and Residual Material, provided by the system.

Production optimization and more competitive advantages for the final customers will be the added values that Roboze team will show during Formnext 2019, at booth 12.1-C61, Messe Frankfurt.
