FORMNEXT 2019: ROBOZE highlights

26 November 2019

Great success at Formnext 2019 for the revolutionary ROBOZE 3D printing solutions, showcased in worldwide premiere in Frankfurt during the most significant European exhibition in its sector.
Even this year, Formnext definitely met our expectations and was very successful, gathering more than 850 exhibitors and 34.500 visitors (compared to 27.000 of the last year). The fifth edition was focused on the industrialization of additive manufacturing technologies and ROBOZE could not miss it.

With a 160 mq booth, located at the centre of the hall 12.1, we have showcased the greatest news that every year at Formnext we present to the industrial sector and the entire market.

After the recent introduction of the Heat Treatment Process, system developed to manage the entire manufacturing process (from pre-printing procedures to post-processing finishing), ROBOZE has launched in worldwide premiere the ARGO 350, new Production series’ 3D printer, and  the SABIC’s EXTEM™AMHH811F Filament, amorphous filament with the highest thermal resistance in the world available on the Production ARGO 3D printers.

With a 350X300X300mm buildplate, ARGO 350 is equipped with a controlled heated chamber, capable to reach 180 °C in just more than one hour. This allows to reduce the thermal shock of the material we are extruding and cool it down more slowly, reducing the mechanical stress and any residual tensions caused by the thermal treatment. In ARGO 350 the HVP Extruder, designed to reach 450 °C for the extrusion of composite materials and high temperature super polymers, is equipped with a double gear system to better dissipate the heat, reduce any wear phenomena, improve the feeding system and optimize the pressure on the filament itself.
Amazing announcements even in terms of strategic collaborations in the materials engineering field.

Ideal for sectors like Space and Aeronautics, Automotive and Motorsport, Electronics and Consumer Goods Industries, the SABIC’s EXTEM™AMHH811F Filament - thermoplastic polyimide filament developed on the SABIC’s EXTEM™ resin - is the amorphous filament with the highest performances in the world thanks to excellent flame retardant properties and great dimensional stability.
In addition to mechanical and chemical resistance, the SABIC’s EXTEM™AMHH811F Filament has gained the UL Blue Card recognition with V0-075 certification on samples printed by ARGO systems with a thickness of 0,75mm. This certification puts on the same regulatory level parts printed with Roboze technology and parts produced with traditional manufacturing like injection moulding.

The partnership with Solvay, a multi-year agreement aiming at accelerating the adoption of high temperature 3D printing solutions within the most extreme sectors, benefits from ROBOZE 3D printing technology and the exclusive portfolio of  SOLVAY Specialty Polymers’ s high performance materials, KetaSpire® PEEK and KetaSpire® Carbon PEEK
The main goal, shared by the two companies, is the desire to speed up the digitalization of the manufacturing processes to produce parts just-in-time and on-demand for the creation of value in the manufacturing processes even of big worldwide players.

ROBOZE and FORMNEXT are strongly connected by a thin thread that has seen both realities growing up together in only 5 years.
We are very proud to be there, as it gives us the opportunity to communicate with those top visitors who every year decide to attend and that are increasingly getting aware of the advantages and the final applications possible with our solutions.

See you next year with new ideas and always ready to print strong like metal!
